Fire

Crews were responding Friday afternoon to a fast-moving brush fire along the 405 Freeway in the Sepulveda Pass near the Getty Center. The blaze and smoke were expected to further slow rush-hour traffic in the already congested corridor. The fire was burning north of Sunset Boulevard, and fire crews were just arriving. Dozens of homes are directly in the fire's path, separated from the flames by a ravine.
