Two Glendale residents were arrested on suspicion of breaking into two cars Friday night in the Orange Grove parking structure in Burbank.

Burbank police received a call at 11:25 p.m. from a witness who observed two men breaking into two Toyota Camry vehicles, both 2012 models, according to Burbank Police Sgt. Darin Ryburn.

The witness reported seeing the suspects rummage through the first car and its trunk and take property, but did not report seeing anything taken from the second vehicle, he said.

The witness then reported the license plate number of the suspects’ vehicle, a Ford Explorer, which allowed Burbank Police to follow the car and pull them over at the Buena Vista exit along the Golden State (5) Freeway, Ryburn said.

The witness was able to positively identify the suspects at the scene, and police arrested Arman Shakbazyan, 37, and Omanov Djasur, 29.

Their bail is set for $20,000 each.

Stolen property from the suspects’ vehicle was recovered and returned, Ryburn said.
