[Updated at 2:05 p.m.] A two-vehicle collision caused a pickup truck to crash through the window of a Burbank business Friday evening, resulting in injuries to the driver of the truck and temporarily closing off a portion of Magnolia Boulevard, authorities said.
At about 5:20 p.m., Burbank Police responded to a call of a vehicle that crashed into a building on Magnolia Boulevard between N. Screenland Drive and Kenwood Street, said Burbank Police Sgt. Thor Merich.
The driver of the pickup truck was trapped inside, and had to be extricated by the Burbank Fire Department.
After assessing both parties for injuries, the driver of the truck was then transported to Providence Holy Cross, Merich said.
A portion of Magnolia Boulevard was closed off for about an hour and a half, Thor said.
