BURBANK — Burbank police officers on Wednesday arrested a 19-year-old man in connection with the Nov. 29 death of his father, Timothy Loock, assistant football coach at Burbank High School. A 64-year-old man shot himself in the head about 12:50 p.m. Friday while at the Firing-Line indoor shooting range on North Lake Street in Burbank, police said. CITY CENTER — Even as the city prepares to close the first chapter of repairs to botched work on the $30-million police and fire headquarters, the second act is expected to bring the total project cost to nearly half the price of the original building 11 years ago. BURBANK — Property crimes in Burbank rose last year while neighboring cities, such as Los Angeles and Pasadena, saw a decrease in the same category, according to the FBI’s latest batch of crime statistics.
