Police are asking the public’s help in identifying a suspect who was involved in three gas station robberies in Burbank over the last five months.

Police believe the same man was involved in several other robberies in Los Angeles and Orange counties.

The most recent Burbank robbery occurred Dec. 23 at the A to Z Service Station in the 2000 block of North Glenoaks Boulevard, where just after 10 p.m., the man brandished a handgun and made off with an undetermined amount of cash, said Burbank Police Lt. Eddie Ruiz.

The two earlier incidents took place Dec. 12 in the 1600 block of North San Fernando Boulevard and Aug. 31 in the 100 block of West Alameda Avenue, said Burbank Police Officer Joshua Kendrick.

The suspect was described by police as black, roughly 26 years old, about 5 feet, 7 inches tall, and as weighing between 180 and 200 pounds.

Police recommended that local gas stations have working surveillance cameras and good lighting inside and outside of the business.

Anyone with information is being encouraged to call Burbank police at (818) 238-3010.
