State transportation officials on Thursday announced the latest round of planned ramp closures along the Golden State (5) Freeway through Burbank as crews work to build a new carpool lane.

The nearly $58-million project -- which will include a carpool lane on the Interstate 5 between the Ventura (134) Freeway and Magnolia Boulevard in Burbank, sound walls and retaining walls – is scheduled to be completed in late 2014.

The California Department of Transportation released the following schedule for planned ramp closures, but warned times can vary.

The closures started Thursday and are planned to last through July 10:

      -   Northbound I-5 Connector to Eastbound SR-134

        Time: 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. (Until 7a.m. on Saturday July 7 and 9 a.m. on Sunday July 8)

 

      -   Southbound I-5 Connector to Eastbound SR-134

        Time: 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. (Until 7 a.m. on Saturday July 7 and 9 a.m. on Sunday July 8)

 

      -   Westbound SR-134 Connector to Northbound I-5

        Time: 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. (Until 7 a.m. on Saturday July 7 and Sunday July 8)

 

      -   Westbound SR-134 Northbound and Southbound San Fernando Road On Ramp

           Time: 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. (Until 8 a.m. on Saturday July 7 and 9 a.m. on Sunday July 8)

 

      -  Northbound I-5 Western Avenue Eastbound and Westbound On Ramp

        Time: 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. (Until 12 p.m. on Saturday July 7 and Sunday July 8) 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

 

      -   Northbound I-5 Western Avenue Eastbound and Westbound Off Ramp
