Good morning, readers. Today is Sunday, September 16. NASA is bringing the space shuttle Endeavour home to Los Angeles next week.
Parts of the shuttle were built in Canoga Park, reports the L.A. Times. Residents can geek out while watching its 12-mile crawl from Inglewood to L.A. once it arrives at LAX Sept. 20.
A driver suspected of driving under the influence led police on a chase across the 5 Freeway Saturday, reports Patch. Officers were apparently unable to catch up to the vehicle.
