James Foy, former director at KNBC, dies at 81

James Foy, a former Burbank resident who spent nearly two decades as the on-air editorial director at KNBC-TV in the 1970s and '80s, died of a heart attack Saturday in his Victorville home, family members reported Thursday. He was 81.
