A suspected Texas bank robber was arrested in Burbank early Wednesday morning during a traffic stop, police said.
Police stopped the 29-year-old man, identified as Andrew Rios, just after 1 a.m. after he reportedly made a left turn onto Olive Avenue from Alameda Avenue from a non-turn lane, said Burbank Police Sgt. Darin Ryburn.
Upon searching the suspect’s driver license number, Burbank police discovered he had been reported as “armed and dangerous” after allegedly robbing a bank in San Antonio, taking $10,000 just six days earlier, Ryburn said.
Police recovered sequentially numbered cash in his car, Ryburn added.
Rios is being held without bail and is due in court Friday, according to Los Angeles County jail records.
