The shelves at the Wonder Hostess Bakery Thrift Shop in Glendale were sparse as customers made runs on Twinkies, Ho Hos and Ding Dongs after the iconic snack food company asked a judge for permission to go out of business and lay off 18,500 workers nationwide.
