As the holidays approach, the shopping gets more stressful. Take the angst out of holiday shopping by getting the very best deals -- here are our top pics from the Sunday ads.
Target: Toys sale
As if toys haven't been on sale already, Target is pulling out the stops this week with a whole bunch of discounts aimed at below-Christmas-tree real estate. A 20" Huffy Green Machine is $69.99 ($86.99 + shipping on Amazon). The Fisher-Price Imaginext Samurai Castle is $34.99 (it doesn't mention it in the ad, but there is a "buy one, get one 1/2 off Fisher-Price sale mentioned on the Web site that this qualifies for.)
Outside of toys, Amazon is offering a $30 gift card when you buy an iPad Air Wi-Fi 16GB for $479, or an iPhone 5s 16GB for $179.99 with qualifying two-year plan.
Finally, cool-looking foil, holographic or parchment-looking wrapping paper is $5 -- it doesn't say how much you get for that.
There's a coupon for an extra 20 percent off on apparel, showes, accesseries and home stuff when you use a store credit card, and another for an extra 15 percent off if you don't have the store card. With either coupon, furniture, mattresses, custom blines and shaes, fine jewelry, watches and Bijoux Bar are only 10 percent off.
To use the coupon online, enter the code UNDERTRE. (That's right, "tree" with just one "e.")
Bed Bath & Beyond: Coupon
There is a BB&B flyer with a coupon on the back for 20 percent off a single item. Save these -- most stores take them regardless of expiration date.
Kohl's: Big coupon
There is a coupon on the front of the booklet for 25 percent off if you spend $100 or more. If you spend under $100, it only takes 15 percent off. Online, the code SCARF will take 15 percent off any purchase, and MITTENS will take 25 percent off a purchase of $100 or more.
What to use the coupons on? There are super-cute "critter ballerina slippers" for women, with fox, racoon and dog heads on the toes, at $11.99. Character apparel for little kids is 50 percent off, inlcuding an awesome Batman hoodie with a mask and ears for $17.99. All Trim-a-Tree decorations are 50 percent off plus an extra 10 percent off.
There's a Wow! pass on the front of the booklet for an extra 20 percent off on select sale and clearance apparel, or 15 percent off on sale and clearance watches, suits, coats, dresses and more, or 10 percent off sale and clearance electrics or electronics.
On the back of the ad, there are Holiday Dollars coupons. If you spend $50 or more on qualifying items, you have the cashier scan one of the coupons for $15 off. If you spend $100 or more, you use the $25 off coupon. If you spend $200 or more, there's a $50 coupon you can use.
