David Wright, born Dec. 20, 1982, in Norfolk, Va., is a baseball player and the current starting third baseman of the New York Mets. He has been with the team since his debut in 2004. Wright is a four-time All-Star (2006-09) and two-time Gold Glove-winner (2007-08) at third base.
