    I am a regular customer of the Salvation Army store on San Fernando Road in Glendale. I would like to know why — in the sweltering heat — the employees (and customers, for that matter) do not enjoy the benefit of air conditioning? This store has been open since 2009, and since then, the lack of air conditioning has been a constant. Sorry, but big industrial-sized fans blowing the hot air does not cut it. Apparently the employees have been told to tolerate it; a water cooler has been put in the front of the store to provide relief. What century are we living in?
